Dog Love
What a creative way to show how difficult it can be to prevent puppies from being born… Dog overpopulation is a serious matter, so please make a conscious decision and spay & neuter your pet (if you haven’t already). By encouraging people to adopt shelter dogs, versus purchasing from a breeder, we can make a difference. For every pet that we buy, we take away shelter space. If you haven’t visited a humane society, today’s your chance! Petfinder.com is an excellent companion resource. Together, we CAN save lives!

Human Dog
This creative video makes me think of my friend’s Golden, who apparently has very human-like features as well. Although slightly on the creepy side, the human-dog makes me laugh every time! For more hilarious Ginger amusement, please check out “Breakfast at Ginger’s” and “Wasabi & Ginger” on youtube. Pay attention to Ginger’s face, as she patiently waits to be fed by the hands – LOL!

A Happy Ending…
Meet Faith, the incredible two-legged dog! Learning that the unfortunate little girl got a second chance at life, is truly encouraging… Her own mother didn’t even want her, and her birth defect almost put her on death row. Fortunately, an angel by the name of Jude Stringfellow took Faith under her wing, and did an amazing job raising and training her disabled puppy. Against all odds, Jude taught her dog how to be independent, by walking upright like a human! This strong-willed companion is full of life, and with her amazing story, she inspires people all over world. Faith continues to teach us, that with love, patience and a positive attitude, we can accomplish anything we put our minds to. Best of all, Faith is a perfect example of what true beauty really looks like!

Boo!
That wasn’t scary at all, right? But the reality of dog fighting is more than just scary. It’s absolutely horrifying! And so is the unfair reputation that the breed has gotten over the years. Together, we can fight the ignorant misconception and educate the misinformed. The Pitbull is a misunderstood breed, that by nature is extremely affectionate, loyal and eager to please! Like any other dog, it wants to love and to be loved. Yes, it may be much stronger than other breeds, but it is no more vicious, simply because of its bulkier outfit. I believe majority would agree, that the small dogs can be a lot more aggressive than their bigger cousins. Except they don’t have the equipment to do the same type of damage, which is actually an advantage, because if they were capable of doing real harm, it wouldn’t be long before they too would get a wrongful ban. According to the American Temperament Testing Society, the Pitbull scored better than both the Golden Retriever and the Beagle! So please don’t be a breed snob, and embrace the American Pit Bull Terrier, because it truly is one of the best companions anyone can ask for! And what a great video and song! Let’s just hope the message gets through to the real bullies!

Check out this amazing team of dogs!
I just never get sick of watching this incredible group of dogs! “OK Go” is a really cool band, touring all over the world (currently in Wisconsin), sharing their unique tunes and inspiring people. By purchasing the “White Knuckles” video, you are supporting the ASPCA. These considerate musicians, encourage us to make a donation on behalf of the shelter animals in need. How awesome is that? Imagine the potential impact, if all artists were that generous!? Most of the talented dogs performing in the video are rescues, once again proving, that there are no bad dogs, only bad dog owners!

Euthanized Dog Comes Back to Life…
About two weeks ago, I saw this incredible story on the local news channel. What a horrible experience for both owner and dog… Miraculously, Mia is still alive, but because her owners cannot afford to properly care for her, or pay for the extremely costly surgery, they are hoping to find their 10 year old dog a new home. Surgery donations can be made to Caputo Animal Hospital.

Something to think about…
I find this video very eye-opening, and wish everyone on the planet, felt this way about animal abandonment, abuse and neglect… Certainly made an impact on me!

AMAZING – The Animal Odd Couple
I absolutely had to include this video! Goes to show how sensitive and affectionate animals truly are… What a shame, that so many creatures don’t get a chance to experience such a special bond. Big thanks to the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, for doing such an incredible job, taking in retired zoo and circus elephants. The anaual 2700+ acre upkeep is extremely costly ($125,000 per elephant), so if you’re looking to make a thoughtful deed, please consider making a donation to a well deserved organization.
